About Larry Lionetti

Larry Lionetti was born in 1948 in Stamford Ct a suburb of New York City. Larry Lionetti was born to Lawrence Lionetti and Rose Lionetti. Lawrence Lionetti just returning form a tour of duty in the South Pacific serving in The united states of America's Army during world War two.

Upon his return Lawrence Lionetti operated a pizza parlor serving America's first round pizza as authenticated by the NY Times newspaper. Larry Lionetti was born shortly after his return and lived over the pizza parlor listening to Italian favorite playing off the jukebox along with the smell of freshly baking pizza. Doctor Connetta the delivering doctor for Larry Lionetti came home with Lawrence so he could cook him a pizza and serve him a beer after the delivery.

Larry Lionetti attended Saint Patrick's parochial School and fished and hunted through his childhood. He lived in a rural area and his companion through his youth was Beauty a German shepherd who was a faithful and loyal companion.

Larry Lionetti attended Rippawam High school and along with many patriotic teens dropped out in his senior year and volunteered for the United sates Marine Core. Larry Lionetti was 16 years old at the time of his enlistment and just turned 17 when inducted to Paris Island in South Carolina for boot camp.

While in 2nd ITR training he finished his high school education and enrolled in East Carolina University. During the day he trained for combat in Vietnam and at night continued his education. Larry Lionetti served his country in the Tank division and was responsible for keeping his Tank operational. His tour of successful duty ended in Delmar California and then in Bethesda's Maryland served on a honor guard during war protests. He was honorably discharged.  Read More >>
