Larry Lionetti purchased a company called Hollywood Paws and opened the first school of it's type training dog owners and their dog animal acting techniques developed in the entertainment industry. This positive and effective manner of training is highly successful and far more effective than current conventional dog training. This new school has accomplished something never done before and that is train a domestic animal owner by a family and obtained work in the entertainment industry. Up until Larry Lionetti most dogs were from Kennels operating an animal prop business for the entertainment business. Larry Lionetti's Mission statement for HollywoodPaws is to primarily use dogs from a loving home or even from a rescue center so then they can be placed in a loving home as a trained dog. Since the mission statement is new it has been difficult for other animal entertainment companies to accept a school that could supply dogs that live in homes with their owners as the trainer. The other part of the challenge has been to work with domestic dog owners who have unrealistic expectations of a full time career in the movies.
